About US

Who Are We?

Tools for Etsy is built by Graeme (Husband) also known as tools4etsy code monkey, for and run by Jacinta, wife, lover of all things handmade and an Etsy Seller.

Tools4Etsy was originally built to host the EtsySaver Windows Screen Saver and Developer Libraries. We then added some searches to demonstrate the functionality of the Developer Library in .NET. The Etsy community started to use the site for other purposes. Initially some of the tools developed were for personal use. We have since made these tools public and the site has progressed from there.

Since the launch of Tools For Etsy in January 2010, the support from the Etsy community has been overwhelming. At present, we serve over 100,000 pages to over 40,000 visitors per day on average and growing daily.

What do we offer?

We offer a variety of tools, Advertising and the EtsyV2Net Developer libraries. And soon we will be implementing an Alert Feature, which we hope to announce soon. All the Features on the site are FREE.

Our service is designed with SEO in mind - we receive a very strong flow of traffic from search engines bringing exposure for Etsy Sellers from other sources introducing them to the Etsy community via our site. This fresh feed of potential buyers, coupled with our free advertising service, offers minimal investment for any Etsy seller for decent exposure online.

Tools for Etsy is a community based service and we'll continue developing new tools to make life easier for Etsy Sellers and to increase their shop exposure to share with the internet community the wonder of Handmade products that the Etsy community offers.

Why do we have Google advertising?

Hosting a service like Tools for Etsy like any similar service, has it’s running costs. We at Tools for Etsy use Google advertising to subsidise running costs.

For Donations

We have had a number of Etsians contact us about making donations. We would like to thank all those who have assisted with contributing to the running costs of the site. It is a pleasure to see how much benefit the Etsy community is getting.
