30th June 2010: Updated Listings TagCloud to rectify a minor miss count of tags that appeared on rare occasions.

26th June 2010: We're getting ready to launch a newly reworked version of Tools4Etsy using the
soon-to-be release of Etsy's Version 2.0 API. While we're waiting, we've decided to publish a new updated "Listings" view for Shop Listings, What's Hot, Favorite Listings of User, & Gift Guides sections with new features.
Here's a list of some of the new features:
- We've removed as much clutter from around the listing images and the basic information appears when you hover your mouse over the image.
- We've increased the maximum number of listings from 48 to 120 per page.
- The tag cloud found in Tag Wars is now included for in-page filtering - this allows you to filter the view of listings without requerying. We've found this last feature particularly useful in checking the tags used on our listings and has helped us identify any mistakes made. I like looking at the tagging trends on Etsy's Front Page historical listings or Keyword / Materials / or Tag filter listing searches.

9th May 2010: We've updated the "Listings" view for Shop Listings, What's Hot, & Gift Guides sections with two views - Gallery & List views. The images in the Gallery view have also been enlarged. The List view gives additional information like hearts, views, Tags and materials.

30th Apr 2010: Featured Advertisers Gallery has been enhanced with a number of Search and filter features: Quick single-click jumps, partial name search, & you can now order the results by Name, Recency, Hearts, Views and Sales.

27th Apr 2010: New Past Advertisers Sidebar Widget. Exclusively available to all Etsy Sellers who have advertised with us. Selects a past advertiser at random to display.
If you're an Etsy Seller, you too can be featured. Sign up for advertising and you're store will be added to the Past advertiser's Widget and soon to be added featured page.

23rd Apr 2010: Announcing Etsy’s New API. Etsy has sent out invitations to thrid-party developers to join the version 2 Beta of the Etsy API. We'll be posting the new EtsyNet once we receive approval from Etsy to launch. If you're a developer and are interested in assisting with the testing, please send us a message and let us know...

4th Apr 2010: Google applied a global PageRank update and www.tools4etsy.com PageRank was upgraded from PR4 to PR5.

22nd Feb 2010: Updated Tag Wars tool. New "Average Views per Day" tag filter - now total of four (4). Displays Tag and Material TagCloud results based on "Average Views per Day".

21st Feb 2010: Updated Tag Wars tool. Thanks to UnclJohn for suggesting the new "Probability" feature. "Probability" is based on the views probability for displayed listings.

8th Feb 2010: Updated Tag Wars tool. It is now possible to choose if you want the results to be calculated on "Relevancy" or "Popularity". "Relevancy" is based on the count of tags for listings displayed on the page whilst "Popularity" is based on the accumulative count of views for listings displayed.

7th Feb 2010: Updated Tag Wars tool. We've color coded tags to make it easier to read.

31st Jan 2010: Updated Tag Wars tool. This is a multi-stage update. Today's update adds tag clouds with popultion density for Tags & Materials for the items displayed. Paging though the data will show different population densities and keywords.

14th Jan 2010: New Tag Wars tool. Enter two sets of tags and see which tag set has the most listings. The listing results for each tag set will be displayed side by side with tool tip descriptions and click through.

7th Jan 2010: Interest in FREE Advertising has been overwhelming. We've expanded the number of adverts and added advertising to the search tools.

4th Jan 2010: We're testing out a new advertising web applet / widget (look in the left sidebar). This is a new tool that will be available for putting on your own website to advertise your shop, and other features to come. The applet is fully configurable with the following features:

- All image sizes from 25x25, 50x50, 75x75, 155x125, and 200x200
- From a single image to multiple images in a grid
- Adjustable disblay duration
- Multiple animations: Drop, Flip, Swing, CrossFade, with others to follow
- Borders, backround, hover colors are all configurable
- Click-through to Etsy Listing

30th Dec 2009: We've lauched our first Silverlight Applet. It's demonstrates the EtsySaver that runs as a screensaver on PCs/MACs using Windows XP or newer operating System. If you don't use Windows OS, then the applet can also run full screen (Tested on MAC OSX).
