Tools4etsy.com is build in mid 2009, using the Etsy.Net API wrapper for the ETSY RESTful API developer interface.
The website was originally built to showcase the functionality of the Etsy.Net API, as a developer tool in it’s basic form.
Tools4etsy.com has since taken a different tone, in which we would like to showcase useful tools & applications for the Etsy Buyer and Seller.
The website is broken into five (5) parts:

What is this tool used for?
The search results generated from this search tool, returns all users that are registered on Etsy (both buyers and sellers).
How it works?
You need at least 1 or more character to start searching for the Etsian you wish to find.
The more letters you include in your search results, the more defined and accurate your search results.

The Listings tool allows you to search by the following criteria: Shop, Category, Tag, Keyword, Colour, Keyword & Colour.
Note: The Colour and Colour & Keyword Search tool, have not fully been implemented, but should be released soon. Please note that there is currently an issue with Etsy's Colour Calculation routine and a colour may not be correctly calculated.
In each of the Listing tools search criteria key in the Shop name, Category, Tag, Keyword, Colour or Keyword & Colour for a returned result. Below is the breakdown of each of the search criteria:
You will need to know an actual shop name but if you have forgotten you have a link to the Spot-a-Shop tool to find/confirm the shop you are in search of. In the shop criteria search all active listings pertaining to the Etsy Seller will be retrieved and displayed.
The Shop criteria search can be enhanced further by the drop down option of sorting by cost of the item: Price or the date the listing was created: Date Created.
There is also the option of stipulating the order of the results to be sorted from the Top-Down or the Bottom-Up.
Searches listings by a category name.
Searches listings by one or more Tags.
Example:Murano Bead Red
This is one of the most powerful search options available. Searches listings by specifing keywords to search on with search_terms, separated by spaces or semicolons. You can also use the operators AND and NOT to control keyword matching.
Price range (min to max), sort by Price (sort by Least to Most expensive or Most expensive to least) or Date Posted (sort by Most Recent to Oldest or Oldest to Most Recent) and to optionally search the Listing description.

Displays the latest featured listing to the oldest. You can page back to up to 50,000 listings!
