Displays the Top 100 Tags related to the seach Tag. Etsy tracks most but not all tags so some tags may not return any results.

Compares two sets of Tags. The Tag cloud summary can be based on one of the following statistics:

Relevancy

Count of tags for listings displayed

Avg Views/Day

Total Average views per Day for listings displayed on the page.

Popularity

Accumulative count of views for listings displayed

Probability

Probability is used to find the number of occurrence of an event out of possible outcomes. Probability percentage calculation = number of views for an item divided by total views for all items (displayed)

Search for items with specific Etsy Tags used by the seller.

Tag Wars Search Overview

Tags have a very important, and commonly underestimated, role in Etsy Search. Tag Wars is the first of several tools planner to help research and identify Tags that will help push listings to the top of Etsy Searches.

Once you've selected the tags to compare and pressed the Search button, Etsy is queried and after a brief pause whilst we collect and collate the results, the results will be displayed. The page will automatically jump to the search results.

We've been asked in the forums "Which tags should I choose - most popular or least?". We suggest that you use all 14 tags & select tags that users would look for. We've added a tag cloud that shows tag density for the images in view. You can use this to build up a set (of 14) tags that best describe your product and best competes against other shop listings. Here's a suggestion that's mentioned frequently in the Etsy Forums:
